We are firm believers in the old cliche, treat your home like it is ours.
With this in mind we have full public liability insurance to cover us and yourself in the event of a costly accident.
We have a few rules that we as a company will always adhere to:
FREQUENCY
Cleans are maintained on a 4 or 8 weekly basis depending on your needs. We do not perform one-off cleans, or clean on an ‘as and when’ basis or summer service only.
PRICE GUIDE QUOTE
The price list is a guide and due to differing property sizes and amount of windows we may need to adjust the price if necessary. Our minimum charges for a full window clean are £18 per clean if 4 weekly, £20 if 8 weekly. The minimum charge for a front only clean is £10.
All cleans will be undertaken using specialist equipment for window cleaning, Gutter Cleaning and all the other services we provide.
WINDOW CLEANING
For window cleaning we use water fed pole system, with pure water. All water used will be purified and have a maximum PPM rating of 1. Our PPM rating (last 12 months): 0 Wolverhampton tap water PPM average rating: ~100 (PPM = Parts per million)
I MUST STRESS THE NEXT POINT:
It can take up to 3 cleans for the window to be completely dirt and spot free. This is due to the build up of old dirt in the corners, vents and sills running after the clean has been complete.
First cleans can often take 3x more time than maintenance cleans due to excessive dirt building up over a period of months or even years. Therefore, the price of your first clean may well be higher to compensate for this.
Additionally, clients who often skip maintenance cleans can be charged a 50% excess the next time a clean is completed. This will be down to the discretion of the cleaner.
TRADITIONAL WINDOW CLEANING AND INTERNAL WINDOW CLEANING
We will use a traditional window cleaning squeegee and small pole to clean internal windows.
The windows are cleaned with soap and a squeegee, we can only clean off dirt and do not restore, deep clean or thoroughly detail the windows, if there is cigarette staining, hard water stains or any other staining this may not be removed. We do our best to clean the windows however we cannot guarantee the outcome.
We may use a ladder to access a flat roof to clean a window, however we do not clean windows traditionally off ladders.
COMPLAINTS
Our aim is to provide the best window cleaning service. However sometimes we don’t get it right. If you are not 100% satisfied with the quality of clean within the 24 hours, please contact Keiran on 07807802957, so the clean can be inspected and rectified. If contacted after 24 hours, we may charge for the re clean.
Cleaning skylights or velux cannot always be cleaned efficiently from the ground, this is due to the lack of pressure we are able to apply. Therefore we can’t guarantee a perfect clean.
GUTTER CLEARANCE
An industrial wet/dry vacuum is used to clear out guttering, this is done safely from the ground, we can clear out guttering up to 30ft.
We don’t need your power socket, because we use a petrol generator to power our equipment.
We can only clear guttering that has access, if the guttering is covered by roof tiles preventing us from getting the equipment into the gutter then it cannot be cleared.
Our equipment can go into the top of the downpipe if there are no screws or anything else preventing access. However if there is a blockage further down where it goes into the ground or is cemented in, we won’t be able to unblock it.
We do not dismantle the guttering or downpipes.
WASHING DOWN FASCIAS, GUTTERING, CLADDING AND CONSERVATORY ROOFS
We use our water fed poles and brushes to clean, a soft wash treatment is used to help us clean or break down the dirt.
Ladders are used when it is deemed safe by one of our team, for access to enable us to clean most conservatory roofs. We do not clean the inside of guttering.
WEATHER
Rain isn’t a problem when using purified water so the clean will still go ahead even in a downpour. However thunder and lightning, snow and high winds will mean your clean may have to be pushed back. This will be at the cleaners discretion.
You will receive a message the day before to let you know we are coming. We will never turn up unannounced. If this is a problem please let us know ASAP as no response will be taken as you wish for the clean to go ahead.
ON THE DAY – CANCELLING OR TURNING US AWAY
We try to provide a reliable service (window cleaning 4/8 weekly cleans), we make space and time in our schedule for this.
On the day of your clean it is not possible to replace your clean with another, we reserve the right to charge you £15 cancellation charge if turning us away after we have arrived at your property to clean. We may cancel the ongoing service to you.
Cancelling a clean at short notice or on the day after receiving a text message notification the day before of the pre-booked window clean incurs a £15 short notice cancellation charge.
Access must be granted to the whole property. If we cannot gain access due to no fault of our own, a full clean will be invoiced.
Under no circumstances can gates or fences be jumped. We will always lock up behind ourselves.
We do not offer a regular window cleaning service by appointment, we cannot agree to only clean your windows on set days or times due to no access to parts of your property.
The equipment we use is very expensive to maintain and/or replace. Because of this, if your back garden has an excessive amount of dog mess, that part of the building will not be cleaned but will still be charged for.
PAYMENTS
Payment is to be made the day of cleaning, by BACS transfer or Direct Debit, contactless payments. After 24 hours you will be sent a notification as a reminder to pay. If reminders are repeatedly sent £5 will be added on to the cost of the clean.
Conservatory roof cleans, fascia cleans and gutter cleans are separate services and are not included in the price of a window clean. If you’d like a quote for these services on your property, let us know!
Aggression shown towards a member of staff will not be tolerated and the culprit will be excluded from the round with immediate effect.
REFERRAL & PROMOTIONS
- Customer Discount Eligibility The discount only applies to customers on a regular window cleaning schedule 4 or 8 weeks.
- Offer Combination Discounts and promotions cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
- Referral Program When you refer a friend or family member, they must sign up for a regular 4-weekly or 8-weekly window cleaning service. You will receive one free clean after your referral has completed 3 paid cleans. There is no limit to the number of referrals you can make.
- Who qualifies as a referral: Referrals must be new customers who have not used KLH Exterior Cleaning in the last 12 months.
- Account status: Free cleans will only be applied to accounts in good standing with no overdue payments.
Without those, you’ll get people referring themselves or old customers, and people asking for free cleans while owing money.
KLH Exterior Cleaning reserves the right to modify or end this promotion at any time without notice.
